Description:

This retreat is patterned after a model of debriefing that has helped thousands remain in service to God's call. It is for Christian leader couples, not just for "together time," but to mutually explore new tools to help navigate life and ministry challenges. The format includes four sessions with brief instruction and personal processing time between sessions. The three day event includes a proven, structured progression through life stressors, associated losses, and recovery of hopes and dreams for fresh vision and energy. Most beneficial for a leader wrestling with a major life decision, found in the midst of personal attack, or facing a ministry set-back of some type.

Cost of $600 includes:

-- 3 nights lodging at the Blue Rock BnB

-- Hearty breakfast each morning and 2 lunches

-- Certified Counselor Instruction and Practicum time

-- Personal Reflection and Assessment time

-- Prayer Ministry

Schedule:

Sunday - arrive by 6p, 7pm - Opening session

Monday & Tuesday – a morning and afternoon one-hour instruction session with remaining time for personal assessment and reflection using tools provided.

Wednesday – prayer time together and dismissal by noon

Your Hosts:

Ed Hersh is a certified Christian counselor and has earned degrees from Regent University and Trinity Theological Seminary. Dr. Hersh provides training, pastoral counseling, and debriefing services in Lancaster, Pa and other locations. Ed and his wife Stephanie, married since 1980, are parents of four adult children and are active in church and community. Ed has authored a book on the topic of forgiveness and writes on personal and spiritual growth topics at his blog site.
